Welcome to my personal web site. This site exists to give you a basic introduction to me and my interests.
I was born in Texas in 1977. I'm a graduate of Friendswood High School (1995) and Rice University (1999, B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering). I've lived in the Seattle area since 1999, working as a software engineer for Microsoft. I worked on Microsoft Money and MSN Money) for nine years, and then I switched over to the Windows team where I helped code the "Jump Lists" and Start menu features for Windows 7. I am currently working on the next version of Windows.
I own my own house in Sammamish, WA. I live with my puppy, a Maltese named "Bolt". I have no children, and I'm currently single and open to dating.
Outside of my career, I'm really into music. I play bass guitar and have been in many bands over the years. I've also been fortunate to have the opportunity to see many outstanding bands in concert since moving out to Seattle, including Primus, Alice in Chains, Porcupine Tree, Tears for Fears, Presidents of the USA, Jerry Cantrell, Les Claypool's Fancy Band, Huey Lewis, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Staind, Filter, Limp Bizkit, and many more. My favorite venues for concerts are The Paramount, The Moore, and the Chateau St. Michelle winery.
I also like video games (love my Nintendo DS and my Xbox360), movies/television (especially sci-fi, horror/suspense, action, comedy, and cartoons/animated), running, and playing golf.
